In 2013 we got a lot of attention for insisting that British culture is not just American with a funny accent. The City didn’t agree. Here’s how it played out:

In the end our story was picked up by local news outlets both here in NYC on WPIX 11 and as far away as Wrexham, Wales, Michael’s hometown. We appreciated everyone’s support even though we lost the fight. You can’t fight City Hall, so it seems.

But our locals love us, and that’s what counts.
